Goodbye Bo Bunny!

Well today is my last official day of being on the Bo Bunny team as tomorrow the new design team will be announced!  As I said in my last post I did not reapply for the team this year even though I have had an amazing three years with them.  Bo Bunny is amazingly generous and getting to work with their beautiful products has been a huge privilege.  I will really miss the wonderful girls on the design team and Kris the design team coordinator, they have truly been an amazing group of really friendly and supportive girls.  So to finish off my term here are quite a few of my favourite Bo Bunny items that I have made over the last three years in no particular order :)

These last two are actually from my design team auditions and they are still some of my favourites today :)

Okay that was quite a few!
I have some ventures I am going to be getting involved in that have been on the back burner for a while and I am looking forward to getting started but I will definitely miss being a part of the Bo Bunny family and will always look back on these three years with fondness :)

Clean and Simple with Trail Mix

Oh my where has the time gone again!  I have been working although as is often the case on nothing I can show at the moment!  This layout was up on the Bo Bunny blog last week but I just haven't managed to blog it yet.  This was a really sad layout for me because it was be my last official layout for Bo Bunny as I didn't reapply for the team :(  I really love that background paper and didn't want to cover too much of it up so I decided to do a really clean and simple layout for this one and I actually really like the result :)

See if you can spot the mistake on that one.  Don't you hate it when your brain is thinking faster than you are writing and you make a silly mistake in your writing, but it was just a little mistake so I decided to just leave it, it adds interest ;)

I just got my latest copy of Scrapbook Magazine and I was very excited to see that my layout is the cover layout again!  As with all Scrapbook Magazine covers I used the very pretty free papers that came with this issue and a photo given to me by Scrapbook Magazine

We are only one day into school holidays and the kids are already driving me a bit crazy! :)  So after a crazy day I think I should go to bed now and will do some blog hopping tomorrow night :)

Heritage with Bo Bunny Anthem

This layout was done for today's post on the Bo Bunny blog and the theme was Heritage.  Now I am not usually a big heritage style scrapper as I really prefer bright colours but I had lot's of fun doing this page using some bright pops of colour.

I had this fantastic photo of my Dad as a teenager receiving the Victor Ludorum at his school gala and I decided I just had to use the Anthem paper range to scrap it as!

Chipboard : 12x12 Chipboard/Anthem; 12x12 Chipboard/C'est La Vie

That is it for tonight, I am off to go and melt in bed even with the fan on, instead of on the couch!  Not that I am complaining as it makes me feel all nostalgic for my childhood, roll on more sunshine! :)

Dad Layout

Been a little while again although not tooooo long this time! :)  We have been busy still settling in and enjoying our new home and the beautiful weather!  The kids seem to be settling well into school and we are all really enjoying the stunning area.   We took a trip to Sealife which the kids loved, then caught the 'land train' along the beach to go up in the tower to see the view.

He has joined a new cricket team and is doing really well in it and got Man of the Match last week!

I caught a train to Bournemouth this weekend to go and meet up with my besty who was there for the weekend and I haven't seen for ages!  We had a wonderful day chatting, swimming and melting in the sauna and steam room.  This was us eating lunch, everyone thought we were nutters taking photos and laughing like crazy :)

This is my latest layout for Bo Bunny, our theme was Fathers.  The photos are of me and my Dad last year when my parents were on a trip to the UK.  I love these photos because it is not often that my Dad will let you get a photograph of him without covering his head or pulling funny faces!

Scrapbook Magazine Issue 66

Well it has been a while since I have shared any publications so today I will be sharing my item from Scrapbook Magazine issue 66.  I was asked to do an off the page item for this issue which was a really cute little beach hut.  Here is the magazine...

 And here is the article...
And here are a few photos I took of the beach hut.

I mixed sand into my paint to give the base a sand like look.

Speaking of Scrapbook Magazine, issue 73 just came through my door and I was very excited to see that my layout is on the cover this issue!  I have had a few items on the cover before like with the beach hut but this is my first 'proper' cover :)

That is it for today, thank goodness it is Friday!  I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! :)

Father's Day Cards

I meant to get this up yesterday but weekends are pretty hectic so I gave up in the end! :)  I had something different that I was going to post but then I remembered that I hadn't put these two cards up yet, I have no idea where my brain is these days :)

These are two fathers day card's I made using the new Bo Bunny Trailmix which is perfect for 'Dad' cards.  I whipped these two up really quickly (well for me anyway) because I just used some of the Bo Bunny cut out sheets and a similar base for each card.

Cardstock : Chocolate Vintage Dot
Stickers : Combo Sticker/Trail Mix
Stamps : Trail Mix ; Sentiments Stamps

Life in our New Home

Still busy, busy, busy here but just thought I would put up a quick post with some photos from the last couple of weeks from our new area.  First up these were taken on our walk down to the beach one day.  These horses are from the fields across the road from our house and they are so gorgeous!  I love seeing them everyday.  There are horses in a few different fields and there is this one horse who is by himself and he is so cute because he is just so nosey!  They had some people doing roadworks right by the corner of his field and every time we went out I saw him standing at the corner of the fence with his head hanging over watching what the work men were doing.  I wish I had of had a camera with and taken a photo but strangely enough I don't have any photos of him.  But I do have of these two beauties...

This is the country lane we walk down to get to the beach, it is such a beautiful walk!  I just love the fact that whenever I drop behind when we are out to take a photo of everyone Christopher always turns around and waves at me.  Sooo cute!
This is the beach close to our house although it is not really a swimming beach but lovely for some nice long walks! (Note Christopher is waving again!)
On the walk to the beach you have to walk through a field that actually has cows in it!  They are calves so not that bug but it was sooo funny because I am not sure who was more scared to walk past each other the kids or the calves!  The kids were right up against the fence and the calves kept backing up, the farmer thought is was hysterical!
They are so cute :)
Now our garden..... I just love our new garden, I think our front garden and drive is the same size as our old back garden lol  The best part is it has this beautiful big blossom tree!  I am not sure what it is as I don't think it is a Cherry Blossom tree unless you get different varieties of it but I don't care I love any tree that gets covered in blossoms int the spring!

Ok you can't see it by these pictures but the back garden is huge, the kids are in seventh heaven with being able to run and play and be able to kick a ball without it going over the wall every two seconds!  We even bought a bigger trampoline as the old one was showing lots of wear and tear and the kids loved helping their Dad set it up.

But they had more fun playing with the trampoline box for 2 hours!

A nice big garden is also the perfect place to set up your own obstacle course :)  This is Christopher's baby and he spent ages playing on it, he was a bright red tomato by the time he had finished.

We have been lucky enough to have fantastic weather since we have been here too and the most amazing sunsets!
We have been down to town and the beachfront a few times.  The town is so quaint and pretty, a typical seaside town and it is so busy!  The beach front has been packed with the nice weather and a bank holiday weekend too.  I just love the beachfront they have volleyball, donkey rides, Punch and Judy, pedalos and all sorts of other fun things going on.  This shot was taken before lunch time, it was even more busy later on and I didn't even think it was warm enough to swim!

I just had to include this picture of K on a ride at the fair.  He has been on loads of these things but this is the biggest one so far and he enjoyed it as is evident by the face!

Kieran is settling well into his new cricket team and has already played three matches.

So no pictures of the actual house, I just went through what I have taken and added from there but I am loving the house too.  It is smaller than our old one but is lovely and light with lots of big windows and a huge conservatory that I am loving because it is so warm and bright!  It has been 5 years since we had a conservatory and I had forgotten how nice and warm they are (until winter comes anyway...).

Well that is it for today but I will put a post up tomorrow or on Sunday with some actual crafting!  Oh yes before I go... have you seen that Bo Bunny is having a design team call?  Let me tell you this is a totally awesome team to be on.  Bo Bunny products are wonderful and they are extremely generous and Kris who is the design team co-ordinator is so cute and funny and really sweet.  So if you would like to apply you had better hurry as there is just over a week left to apply!  Good luck! :)
