Snowday and a card

I have two projects to share today, first up is a layout using Snowday!  For this layout we had to do a non winter themed layout using Snowfall to show how versatile all those gorgeous papers are.  I love the papers in this range and they can definitely be used for all sorts of layouts.

 Supplies Used :

Patterned Paper : Flurries, Pajamas, Stripe, Mittens/Snow Day
6x6 Paper Pad : Snow Day
Noteworthy : Snow Day
Stickers : Snow Day Combo Stickers

I also did a sketch to go with my layout...

This card was done using a sketch by the lovely Jolanda Meurs using the Rejoice collection.  I think this might be the quickest card I have ever made as I had to do it in a big rush!

I went to see the latest Breaking Dawn on Saturday and I totally loved it and then I hated it and almost walked out the cinema (anyone who has seen it will know exactly which part I am talking about!) and then I totally loved it again!  I was trying to convince the hubby that he should take the kids to the movies on Sunday and then I would have an excuse to go and see BD again but alas he said we had finish painting the kids rooms.  So that is what we did and then I spent a few hours having a clear out in said kids rooms, the worst part is I am not even finished the clear out so I will still be doing it this weekend!  That is how you know you have the messiest hoarders for kids EVER! :)

I should have WARNED you!!! We went on opening night... and OMG! I have NEVER ever heard a theater react that way... people were crying, screaming, yelling... WHAT THE ?!?!??!?!?!!?! Seriously we were all freaking out!!!! But I knew I couldn't ruin it for anyone ... cause if I would have said the FIRST part -- people would have been like WHAT??? And then if I would have said the "saving grace" part --- people would be like... "Why did you ruin it for me??" ... lol... so I was pretty screwed either way...and I have kept my mouth shut!! LOL! :)

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee your lo and your card!! They are gorgeous!! LOVING all the hexagons on your lo and the ornaments on your lo! :)

Love the sweet boy (his hair) and the title of the layout. Very pretty card too.

Both your projects are beautiful. I love how you did the hexagons in the first one, and then did a sketch for it! I'm going to have to save that one and try it! Your card is so elegant. I love this collection.

oh no...i haven't seen it yet and have heard there's a twist. I hope to see it before someone tells me!!

Super page Carin - love the photo of your son x

I actually enjoyed the twist - it appeased me by keeping to the book (mainly) but also appeased my blood thirsty sister who hates the ending of Breaking Dawn and thinks Ms Meyer copped out by having no big battle and deaths at the end. But when my favourite vamp was the first one to go down I was sat there crying, so relieved it was just a twist!!

Gorgeous layout and lovely card - I love that sketch, will have to pinch xx
