Focus on Et Cetera!

Just a quick layout to share with you today using the wonderfully versatile Bo Bunny Et Cetera!  The layout is about my grandfather and this photo was taken in 1963 by my grandmother as my grandparents did portrait photography for a while!  I just love how they have used the light in the photo and the Et Cetera line was just perfect for it! :)

Bo Bunny Supplies used :
Patterned Paper : Mail Room, Geography, Cut Outs, Filigree Die Cut/ Et Cetera
Chipboard : Et Cetera 12x12 Chipboard
Stickers : Et Cetera Combo Sticker
Buttons : Et Cetera
Wraps : Newsprint Wrap/Cambridge
Brads : Timepiece
Jelewls : Et Cetera

I made the two large coffee filter flowers from this fantastic tutorial I stumbled across the other day on Youtube, although I only did two layers instead of the three to keep them flatter and a bit more masculine for this layout :)
Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! :)

More Than Four!

Bad, bad me, totally neglecting my poor blog again!  Seems to be a endless thing the last few months, one day I will be more organised and actually fit everything into my day :D (if I tell myself this enough it may come true!)    Hee hee maybe I will find something to help me be more organised so I can get everything done on the latest eater of my time Pinterest!  That site is terribly addictive and you just sit down to eat your breakfast and decide to go on there for five minutes just while you are eating and the next minute it is half and hour later!  So many beautiful things....I tell you whoever thought up that site is a total and utter genius! :)

Today I am sharing a layout done for Bo Bunny's More Than Four feature.  These are all the photos I had left over from my beach mini album I did last year.  I had them all printed out really small but still couldn't fit them all in the mini book so I was really happy to use them on this as I still like the photos!

Patterned papers : Barefoot Words/Barefoot & Bliss
Coordinating double Dot : Buttercup Double Dot
Stickers : 12" Combo Sticker/Barefoot & Bliss
Chipboard : 12" Chipboard/Barefoot & Bliss
Noteworthy : Barefoot & Bliss
Jewels : Barefoot & Bliss

I also just got a box of magazine layouts back so I need to get those photographed and then I will put those up in a couple of days too.  I have also been seriously missing my blog hopping but will hopefully get some time tomorrow night to sit down and visit blog land. :)

Thanks for visiting! :)

Winner and Sketch Challenge

First up I have a layout for this months sketch challenge on the Bo Bunny blog.  I also had to do the sketch this month which can be quite a daunting project to do!   I actually do a sketch first each time I do a layout but that is normally with the photos and paper I want to use in mind but I did this sketch before I had chosen any of those so I found it a bit harder!  Anyway I wanted to do something different and this was the sketch I came up with.

As you can see, I have no idea how to do the sketches on the computer, I did try with Photoshop, Paintshop and Word and I just couldn't get it right so I gave up and went back to a simple hand drawn one.  This is the layout that I did to go with the sketch using the stunningly vibrant Forever Fall.  The layout is of my wonderful sister who I am very thankful to still have after almost loosing her a few years ago.W

Supplies:
Patterned paper: Impressions, Forever Fall, Nature, Dot, Dusk/Forever Fall
Stickers: Combo Sticker, Gratitude CS Sticker, Dimensional Stickers/Forever Fall
Noteworthy: Forever Fall
Trinkets: Forever Fall

Brads: Forever Fall
Jewels: Forever Fall
EK Success Slim Edger Punch Bracket and Open scallop
Raffia

If you would like to take part in the sketch challenge for the chance to win a prize from Bo Bunny then head on over the the Bo Bunny Blog to see what you need to do. :)

Ok and now onto the winner of the Forever fall project kit from my blog last week chosen with Random org...
