Twilight Addicts Challenge

This months challenge in my Twilight Addicts social group on UKS was as follows :

use a number in the title
Use Hidden - or no - journalling
One main colour (there can be others too.. but one main)
a LO from one of your faves..

I chose a layout from Taniwha that can be seen here which I just adore, well I love all of her work!

Yeah I know it is a Christmas layout in June but I only recently had the photos printed and they were calling out to be scrapped! ;)

Apparently I don't have many red papers so I had to make some of my own!

I also made a card out of the paper when I was done using my new flower punch that arrived yesterday and my new Cuttlebug butterfly die and embossing set (which I have had on my list of things I want for months now!).  I really enjoyed making the roses and can't wait for the other flower punch I ordered from another shop to arrive so I can make some bigger ones too! :D  I also plan on making loads of different butterflies to do something (haven't quite worked that one out yet) with. ;)

We have been having such lovely weather and on Wednesday when Paul had taken Kieran down to the cricket field to practice his bowling me and Christopher went to the field behind our house to go and fly his helicopter.  It was scorching hot but Christopher still insisted on wearing long sleeves...of course I took advantage and took loads of photos!
I just love this time of year!

P.S.  Don't forget my blog candy ending tomorrow, I will draw a winner tomorrow evening so if you haven't entered and you want a chance to win it you had better do it quickly! ;)

Absolutely gorgeous layout and great idea to make your own paper. I love the two cards - those embossed butterflies are one of my favourite dies to use.

Carin - what a gorgeous layout! I love the fact that you've made your own pattern - That touch of silver lifts the red, and I like this one better than the original - shhh! (I won't tell if you don't!)

Beautiful cards, also.
